Seven on Seven
Oct 27, 2013
I've spent the weekend at the Barbican for Rhizome's first London edition of Seven on Seven. The idea is to pair seven artists with seven technologists to make seven things in a day.
I worked with Mark Leckey to make, err, nothing. We ended spending the weekend chatting and pointing at stuff instead. Deciding on a problem we had rather than making a thing: the difficulty of representing the network in a gallery.
There'll be a video at some point of our discussion at the public event, but for now here's some of the things we mentioned:
- Delay Line Memory
- Media Cyborg
- Internet of Dreams
- Flip Flop
- Invoked Computing
- Kinect in infrared
And inevitably there are also the tweets the audience posted.
